As a hiking enthusiast, I’ve always found the planning part to be more of a headache than a joy. When my buddy Chinmay came back from the Indrahar Pass, he was buzzing about the trek but totally fed up with the chaos of finding trail info and reliable guides. It got me thinking—why does such an amazing experience come with so much hassle?

That’s when Cloud Hike popped into my head—a magical app that turns stressful planning into something exciting, like when we were kids counting down the days to our next big adventure!

Findings

Through some top-notch detective work (aka interviews and research), I uncovered the shocking truth: people are terrified of being unprepared for a trek! Three brave souls confessed to battling poor planning and surprise conditions on past adventures—like showing up to a snowstorm with flip-flops. And guess what? Every single person admitted to pre-hike anxiety, sweating bullets over gear, weather, and logistics. Turns out, trekking is an adventure and a full-blown mental workout!
Key takeaway: Pre-hike panic is real, and it’s time to give trekkers peace of mind before they hit the trail!

Key Point

One key takeaway from my interviews is that many agree the whole process—choosing a trail, booking with a trusted agency, gathering the right gear, and coordinating travel—is overwhelming and stressful.

If something goes wrong, like forgetting necessary equipment or not preparing for the weather, it can really disrupt the trek.
